Dundalk FM welcomes trainees from Youthreach Dundalk to the studios on Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th November for radio and interview skills training. Stephen McGuinness from the centre has just completed two weeks work experience where he helped organise our extensive CD library and prepare a room for additional staff due to join in the New Year (bringing the staff numbers up to ten and the volunteer presenters up to seventy). Stephen also was a guest on our CRAOL National Community Award winning radio programme 'Town Talk'.
Dundalk FM is a social service for community groups in the area and is running afternoon training courses until the end of the year free - call 9395100 or email

to book a two hour workshop! The free training is supported by the Louth Leader Partnership Grant Aid scheme 2011.
Last week we hosted the Dundalk ICA, Dunleer Development Group and members from the Polish Community.
Dundalk FM is a FETAC training centre and our next Radio Course is in January 2012.
