On behalf of the Board of Directors of Dundalk FM, I would like to extend our thanks for all your studio assistance and audio advice during the last three years as Evening Duty Manager.
We hope that you will continue to be involved in music, documentary or other related local community radio activities with us in the future.
I know that all the staff, presenters and presenter teams join with us in wishing you every success with your endeavours.
Kind regards

Dundalk FM would like to invite you to come along
to our Information Evening
on Thursday 15th November.
from 7 to 8.
The station has over 90 volunteers and provides
Programming that reflects the experiences of people living in Dundalk
Employment and training opportunities for people in the area and
Opportunities for small local enterprises to reach a local listenership
We have ongoing vacancies for
Programme presenters
Sound desk operators and
News and Sports Journalists
We are a Social Inclusion and Community Development Radio Station that is run by community group representatives and individuals, like yourself, on a not for profit basis.
So for information about your next step in community radio
and to find out about our next 2 day Learn about Radio course
call us in Thursday the 15th November
from 7 at Dundalk FM Studios,
Partnership Court,
Park Street,
Dundalk.
Looking forward to seeing you then.
Your contribution will pay for new equipment for Dundalk’s community radio studio and on location broadcasting service.
The equipment list is
two digital sounds desks – one for the main studio and one for the production studio
5 x sound processing and studio PC’s
6 x Mic Arms
a studio digital link for outside broadcasts
a portable outside broadcast sound desk
two OB headsets
a studio clock
In October we secured 75% funding from Louth Leader Partnership and to purchase this amazing equipment we need to raise €5,681.00 on our own and hope to achieve this before December 31st 2018.
Having brand new studio equipment will be a wonderful way to begin our 10-year licence in 2019.
One out of every 250 people in Dundalk have been part of making radio since we started in 2002. This is a great opportunity for us to invest in for the next 15 years.
It will be of enormous benefit for our community radio volunteers of all ages and especially for
live match commentaries
OB’s from community halls and events
studio panel discussions
providing certified radio training courses and summer camps
recording radio documentaries and radio dramas
In addition to continuing the wonderful rage of programming you hear the new studio equipment will bring Dundalk’s non-profit public service station up to national broadcast standard.
Thank you for helping along the way.
