Dundalk’s Community Information Hub

If you want to promote the work of your Community Group, Arts, Drama, Voluntary or Sports Organisation – then Dundalk FM is here to help.

  • Tuning in means that you stay up to date with local events and hear about the great work that community and voluntary groups do in Dundalk and the surrounding area.
  • We have a target of 7,000 local voices on air and would like to promote every community group at least once each year.
  • You get a chance to hear from community representatives directly.
  • Dundalk FM is a not for profit Community Media Service. We have nine members of staff, a voluntary board, sub committees over 80 presenters.
  • Community and Sports Groups are welcome to become members and so help to support the station for €30.00 per annum.
  • To find out more information about Community Notices, Community Airtime, Outside Broadcasts, Interviews, Training or Membership, please email info@dundalkfm.com.
You have the opportunity to come in chat with Cathal McCooey, Pat Byrne, David Larkin and Marissa Lucchesi on – Town Talk – to promote your event, a volunteer recruitment drive, a fundraiser, a celebration event, thank your members and contributors for their support and to give an update on your activities.

Dundalk Women’s Shed is a community group open to all women over 18 in Dundalk and surrounding areas.

We aim to support women to explore new interests and make new friends.

We have a speaker or an activity each week, followed by tea and chat.

We also have a walking group and a book club.

And we organise classes and outings to places of interest.

So why not come along on Monday mornings and see if you enjoy our group?

You can come any Monday, except bank holidays.

We meet in the Wellington Hall, St Mary’s Road at 10 o’clock.

We recommend you look at our Facebook page, Dundalk Women’s Shed, for details and what’s on.
